The Personal. The Strategy. The Practice.

The Global Donor Learning Journey

Overview
Ktisis Capital is thrilled to invite the first cohort of donors from around the world to join us on a Global Donor Learning Journey (GDLJ). During this seven month virtual journey, participants will reflect on their personal priorities, develop their giving strategy, and identify the tools and frameworks that will support them in developing a philanthropic practice toward a more just and equitable world.

This program will be led by Ktisis founder, Dr. Jason Franklin, and is designed in collaboration with EDGE Funders Alliance. A wide range of philanthropic & movement leaders from around the world will join as experts and advisors along this confidential and transformational journey for donors ready to take their giving to a new level.

The Journeys
The GDLJ is three journeys in one. Join us as you take the next steps in your Personal Journey - aligning your personal identity with your giving. Then connect your personal goals with purpose and framing through a Strategy Journey. Finally, prepare to bring that strategy to life with a Practice Journey focused on becoming an effective donor for social justice. Finally, we’ll conclude the GDLJ with a session integrating the three journeys and helping you chart the next steps on your life-long journey contributing to a more just and equitable world.

Session 1 - January 26
Session 2 - February 23

Personal Journey: How do you show up? How do the dimensions of your identity shape your giving? How do you hold power and privilege?

Session 3 - March 23
Session 4 - April 20

Strategy Journey: How can you translate your priorities and passions into an effective plan? How can you align your priorities in service of social justice?

Session 5 - May 18
Session 6 - June 15

Practice Journey: How can you implement your giving plan effectively?

Culminating Session - July 13

The Journey Ahead: How can you integrate lessons from these three journeys into a plan for the days and years to come? How can you be part of a broader movement for systemic change?

With this new program, we’re having a conversation with all prospective participants to learn more about you and ensure that the program is suited for your specific learning needs.
