Learning Fellowship
Program Details
Status – Part-time, 10-15 hours/week
Compensation – $22/hour
Location – Remote (EST work hours)
Duration – 12 month Fellowship (with possibility for an extension)
Ktisis Capital is seeking a talented and motivated Learning Fellow to join our team. We see our fellowship program as a pathway for skilled emerging leaders to gain exposure and experience in the philanthropic field, prioritizing supporting people from historically marginalized communities. The ideal candidate will bring existing knowledge and skills in philanthropy, social change, or related fields, with a strong interest in learning more about and engaging in progressive philanthropy. They will play a crucial role in advancing Ktisis’ learning and field-building strategy by supporting the development of various learning programs, resources, and products.

Responsibilities
Conduct field scans, literature reviews, and qualitative research to support learning, thought leadership, and field-building projects.
Monitor and stay current on industry trends, effective practices, and issues in philanthropy and social change.
Pursue professional development activities related to philanthropy and social change. This will include completing assigned/selected readings, attending programs, connecting with field leaders, and more.
Conduct self-directed research and writing on philanthropy topics or issues of particular interest (with support from and in collaboration with supervisor).
Project manage learning projects from inception to competition, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Provide general administrative and program support and client-facing project support as needed.
Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor's degree in philanthropy, nonprofit and public administration, social innovation, community psychology, sociology, political science, or related fields, or comparable work experience
Experience or demonstrated interest in philanthropy and social change
Experience and comfort in conducting literature reviews, field scans, and qualitative research
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms
Strong organizational and project management skills
Proficiency in digital productivity tools and platforms
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
