Raquel brings experience in nonprofit program management and grants administration to her role at Ktisis Capital. At Ktisis, she provides client and project management support while actively contributing to internal organizational development and administration.
Prior to joining Ktisis, Raquel played instrumental roles in various nonprofit and governmental organizations in Miami-Dade County, Florida. She served as Program Manager at The Children's Trust of Miami-Dade, providing program development and operational support for 19 grantee organizations. These organizations were funded for diverse projects encompassing capacity building, early education research, community-based early literacy supports, and parenting programs.
Her tenure at United Way Miami, where she initially served as a Senior Administrator, focused on supporting federally funded Early Head Start Childcare Partnership grants and local grants. Raquel later assumed the role of Program Manager, working with early learning centers in under-resourced zip codes across Miami-Dade County.
Raquel is a proud alumna of Florida International University, where she earned her degree in Political Science, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Florida State University’s Askew School of Public Administration.
Residing in Miami, Florida, Raquel enjoys spending her free time with her dog, Bear, hosting tapas nights, and caring for her many plants.
